Let's Talk About Loss has been established by Beth French, who has lost her mum when she was 20 years old, and at the time of her loss, she felt lonely and confused.  She created the charity so there is space to talk about grief - a subject seen as taboo - for everyone. One of the missions of the charity is to encourage people to speak about their grief and mental health honestly by providing regular meet ups, events, running campaigns and running an informational blog.

What Are the Goals of Let's Talk About Loss?

The not for profit organisation's goal is to change the world. They are dedicated to unite grievers aged 18-35  and create a supportive community where everybody feels safe. They tirelessly work on ensuring that people can express their grief their own way, both by putting it into words, and at times when that's too difficult, putting their words to feelings. Talking about loss can be triggering and upsetting and the organisation is committed to ensure that every person feels at ease when they are ready to talk.

The charity are also committed to raise awareness of grief, as although talking about it first is really difficult,  openness and honesty allows us to cope better in these situations and feel stronger.

Let's Talk About Loss promotes empowering all young grievers to express their grief however they want to.
